Programs and Comm Manager not closing when hitting 'X'

When using the Quicklikst, Programs and Comm Manager were not on the list; this was fine. When I went in the Memory status and looked under the Running Programs, Programs was there along with Comm Manager. I would close them out but when ever I opened one and then hit the 'X', it would stillbe under running programs. Now I installed True Toolbar and it shows all running apps at the bottom of the screen. So now I can see that the Programs is still there when hitting the 'X'. I have to manually do it.

Let me elaborate little; when I mean it doesn't close, I mean that it will appear to close but is still running in the background.

So anyone else see this?

yeah. I know about the apps that can completely overhaul the look and feel and use of the Touch. I just wanted to know if I'm the only one experiencing this. I want to know if I have to return my touch or what.

Just surprised that no one else is experiencing this. No matter how I close the Programs folder or Comm Manager they are still running in th background unless I go to Memory --> Running Programs then manually stop them. I wonder how much memory is eaten by just these two staying open all the time in the background?

Any good process viewers for ppc's?

Tried that. It actually doesn't do anything. I even changed the option to close app when hitting the 'X'. Still nothing. Does this happen to you?

Look at the post from coorey on this link http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/sho...e+modem&page=2 (about the 10th post down) I was having the same problem until I installed the program x-button-1.5.cab that he has listed. It works great on my touch. Just something to look at.
