Not for me I've tried like three times and then reset and it is nowhere to be found, except the uninstall list.

You have to map a soft key to the executable. I mapped my left soft key to it:

Changing SoftKeys
Create the following keys and Strings in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 3
112 is the left key and 113 is the right.
Set Default to what you want the key to read (ie. SMS)
Now for each key create a new string named Open and set the target path.

I'm not finding it under programs or anywhere in Resco File Explorer. Ive searched everywhere. Ive installed the cab & tried to use Resco to at least find the path so I could map the left softkey to it but cant find any trace of it except in the remove program list.

Download the Sprint MMS app thats in the Touch forum then you can just change the param path to select new mms. Does anyone know how to get the new email to work correctly & am I the only one having issues with that option? It opens the messaging app but doesnt select new email.

MMS and EMail are not linked to "new".

Use registry tool to correct this:

MMS:
\HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen\APP_2
Param
-service "MMS" -to ""

EMail:

\HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen\APP_0
Param
-service "EMAILACCOUNTNAME" -to ""

replace EMAILACCOUNTNAME with the name of
the email account. (Find in Messaging -> Select an Account List).

In that regkey you can change the order of the new buttons too.
(and a lot of other things, number and size of buttons etc etc).
