Yes, you can. It should be found under:

HKLM>Software>HTC>Biotouch>APLauncher2>App0-App7
then just edit the Path.

That's the reason I put the disclaimer "Only download if you know how to edit the registry."

As far as the program that was recently put out there, it shouldn't be too hard for him to add the 4th side reg edits, but I don't want to speak for him. He's free to do whatever he wants. :-D

Welcome to PPCGeeks!

For support for the 6700 (aka Apache) check here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14

i took the liberty of searching for you and came up with this thread which tells you how to get the Cube on your 6700.

So let me know if I'm understanding you right...

The 4th wall, or any subsequent walls, don't actually have icons. But you could basically build the icons into the background you're putting on it to simulate such?

Correct. The 4th "wall" is just one big image (\Windows\D0.brn) that has images on it that line up with the invisible buttons. To change "icons" create a new D0.brn (or edit the existing one).

Does this have the same frame rate when spins? One real cube theres like 6 frames it turns.

Musicman247 11-30-2007 11:28 PM

Yes, it does.

Any chance of there being a 3x4 4th page? We could use many of the 42x42 pixel icons available if we could add a third column to the page. Just a thought.

In my haste to reply (and my nervousness) I may have not answered your question correctly.

To have all of the 1st 8-button side buttons work you will need to install the programs mentioned. I believe those are Total Commander, Sling Player, and Google maps. All the other Apps are built in to the Touch.

On the second App Launcher screen, the ONLY one that will work on a stock Touch is the WM Player. FR Notepad has to be installed for that button to work, HTC Home Customizer has to be installed for that button to work. The rest of the buttons are un-assigned. you would need to edit their registry values to point them to the correct program.

To answer your last question, I have just uploaded a new CAB (see first post) which will create the 4th side, but leave all the other sides unaffected. The fourth side is still the side with the unassigned applications.

Can you help ???? which version did you leave up to download. The version with sling player and google maps as mentioned above or am I confused.

By the way I added to your rep ... for the hard work

Musicman247 12-01-2007 12:33 AM

I left the version that only adds the fourth side (with the many unassigned buttons). If you would like the App Launcher with Google maps, YouTube, etc. go to this post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=221 and install the cab that is there.
