Anyone use microSD Wifi on Touch?

I'm very intrigued by the Touch, but the lack of Wifi is a killer for me. I see there are now some MicroSD Wifi cards available. Has anyone used one of these with the Touch? I'm curious if the O/S can handle these.

Any insights?

i don't think we will ever know unless the company puts the item onthe market to sell. From what I've read, Spectec has been mentioning that it will be out soon since last year. i too wouldn't mind buying one to test it out.

I can't even visualize how those would work on the Touch. I know it sticks out of a regular slot so would the whole side of the phone and the back have to be left off to use it? That would be weird. - sheureka

ok lets say, Yes you can buy it, yes it fits in the phone with no case issues (LAME ASS BACKWARDS DOOR FOR THE SD CARD!!!!)... The first thing to know, is does it need drivers? do they make them for windows mobile? and is this like sdio? does it have to be microsdio?

I bought one of these Spectec Wifi cards for my old 6600, SD size.

One of the worst pieces of junk I ever bought. Their drivers completely messed up the phone and required a hard reset to resolve. It caused DSOD. Even after multiple firmware releases, it was never stable.

I can't imagine how poorly a device with that small an antenna would work (given how badly the SD one worked), not mention how stupid it would be sticking out the side of a touch even if you do manage to get it in their.
