Trying it now. On the bright side, it keeps any other programs or applications from running if it gets bumped in the pock. On the down side, it still leaves the screen on for the same amount of time as the normal Touch function would.

You could also use DeviceLock. I have it mapped to my red call button - a doube-tap of that button will turn off the device and lock it. Then I unlock it by hitting the green phone button and then hitting both unlock buttons on the screen. I guess I could try S2U2 but I don't know if that's any easier.

Doesn't have to: I had my Power settings to turn off after 2 minutes, whereas S2U2 was shutting down the display after 10 seconds. So when the phone woke up unintentionally (as in tower change or accidental bump in the pocket), no applications would launch and it would shut back off after 10 secs. However, when I unlocked the phone, it would wait for 2 mins of inactivity before going back to sleep...

Can anyone post the latest S2U2 cab file here? I can only find it packaged in a .rar file and unfortunately I can't open that type of file at work. Also, what's the difference between S2U2 and Slide2Unlock? Is one better or more stable than the other? Does one work better with the Touch?
