Blue tooth shortcut?

Does anyone know of a way to get a bluetooth short cut to the front today page? I have a blue tooth in my car and it works fine. My problem is that I don't want to leave the blue tooth function turned on when I am not using it cuz I was told that it drains the battery more quickly.

Does anyone know of a way that I can get an icon on the launch page to turn my blue tooth off and on rather than swiping the screen and going to Comm manager and turning it on or off that way?

You could use Treo Alert. It's free and if you use it as a Today Screen plugin, you can toggle bluetooth on or off very easily right from the today screen.

Basically, the best way to do it is with a software plugin that has a shortcut button. I personally use PhoneAlarm, it has repeating reminders for txts, emails, missed calls, and voicemails, and with the right skin you can toggle bluetooth and the headset profile off and on directly, not to mention switch profiles which can automatically set all of your sound/notification preferences.

What is CICLE BLUETOOTH. I looked for Cicle bluetooth and Cycle bluetooth. What is a Hard key for a Touch? I just want something to put in the launcher..can I do that?

Cicle BT is awesome. Mapped to long press of the sprint button. AND it pops up a notification saying whether you just turned it on/off and the notification goes away on its own after a second or two. I am at school but if you can't find it. PM me to remind me to post it when I get home

The easiest thing to do is install AE Button Plus (you can just use the free version) and map a key to do it. For example, you can make it so that a double press of the camera key toggles bluetooth on or off - can't get much easier than that. You can map up to 4 functions for each button on the Touch (single press, double press, triple press and long press).
