Activesync Support Code: 80004005

I've been getting this message since yesterday morning and can't access any messages on my device. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Well it would help to say what you have already tried.

Most of the posts suggest it is an issue with the pst file on the desktop, not really an issue with the ppc.

Hope it works out. You backed up?

same thing happened to me this morning! I woke up and could not hit the messages OR SMS button on the home screen...I would tap them and nothing would happen. Further, no email or SMS would come in...I have my mail hooked up thru active sync using a mail2web account and sync my contacts/calender thru my work PC. The only thing that worked for me was a hard reset....I had to sit here and load everything back on as all of my backup that I tried (probably about 6 of them) did not work, something would get messed up internally when it tried to sync over the air with the mail2web server as I only sync with my work PC thru a usb cable, not OTA. So even after a backup to a time when everything was working perfectly did not work.

Very frustrating. I hope this is not an issue that keeps coming up after awhile, it seems like a few people had the same problem as me at the same time!

FINALLY found the reason why I couldn't create email accounts, GlobalContact application from Microsoft was the culprit.
