Voice command chirp missing

I have voice command 1.6 mapped to my 1 button. 9 out of 10 times, when i press the button the microphone icon shows up - but no chirp. I am not using bluetooth. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas on a fix?

Ahh,... best solution is wait for the next VC. Hopefully it will be 1.7 with all the fixes. The current 1.6 has issues with wm6.0.

i noticed the same thing. bug in 1.6. it is acting different than it did on the mogul though. i thought i had the chirp on the mogul.

It acted very funny on my mogul. But it still worked. But i do need confirmation. SO i just uninstalled it and been waiting for a update since. I miss it but I managed to live without it. Anyone gave it a go ont he build it voice command on WM6? I hate the fact that you have to tag a name for everything.

i get the chirp 50% of the time I just look for the mic symbol and talk..but I'm habing a whole other issue. I cant get my bt headsets to activate my voice cmnd

At least I know i am not alone. Thanks for the input. Hopefully someone more skilled than I will figure out a solution to the problem or the next version will arive shortly.

No chirp here either, just microphone symbol. Announce incoming calls doesn't work either. Anyone got that to work?

yes, I miss the incoming call announment.There no current fix for all these bugs at the momment

I get the chirp 50% of the time and I cannot get my bluetooth headset to activate Voice command. It worked great with my 6700 running WM6.

Has anyone ever contacted MS support with these issues? Do they give any hints on when an update might happen? WM6 has been out almost 6 months, you'd think they'd have updated their own software by now... Hopefully they aren't rolling Voice Command into the next version of Windows Mobile, who knows when we'd see it then...
