Scheduler to turn off BT?

Hello,

In order to conserve battery consumption, I was wondering if there was a scheduler I could use to turn off BT - I'm not going to need it ever between midnight and 6AM but I'm certainly not going to remember to shut it off every night. Is there any scheduler I can use for something like that?

The only thing I can think of is SKSchema. Normally you need a bit scripting with it but for BT it already has the built-in function and all you need to do is add the schedule part.

PhoneAlarm has profiles where you can identify which features are on or off (radio, bluetooth, wifi, etc.) then you can put the profiles into a schedule to be ativated at different times and days. I rely on it. There is also PhoneWeaver, but I've never used that one.

I use PhoneAlarm as well, and there's a new PhatPhinger skin that although it doesn't have the weather, is better than the HTC Home plugin. It has bigger icons for the stuff you use and shortcut buttons for other stuff (like toggling bluetooth). It has a reasonably sized clock, so you can put other stuff on your today screen. I rely on the scheduled profile switching to turn on bluetooth during my drive time automatically. I can toggle it quick enough from the home screen as well, but if I walk out to my car, get in, and start driving, I can turn on the speakerphone without having to dig my phone out of my pocket to turn it on. The profiles allow you to set ringers, notifications, and other options that are handy (like a vibrate alert for e-mail at work, but a vibrate and ring for home, and a louder ringer volume for the car).

Definitely a worthwhile install...

Don't you charge it at night though?

That Phone Alram sounds pretty cool though.

I'd love something to shut the network off when idle to save battery.
