My Touch Keyboard Doesn't have T9

My touch keyboard doesn't seem to have T9, or at least the dictionary seems to be missing. For example, when I type the word "keyboard" "jetboaed" is suggested and typed when I hit space. Is there any way to download and install the default dictionary? Thanks,

When you are typing what key is to the right of your spacebar? If it says abc you need to click it until it displays XT9.

Thanks... I feel dumb now. How can I keep this as the default? Also, is there any way to select the full qwerty keyboard when the 2 key per button keypad comes up?

Actually, no.

SIPChange won't do this since the Touch keyboard is already the default. The ABC/XT9 options are independente to this.

I'm not sure how this can be done, I have noticed that the keyboard decides where to do it. If I'm sending an e-mail it will be ABC input on the TO field, but as soon as I drop to type the message, it changes to XT9.
