How do you have contact scroll in dialer?

I don't know what it is called but this feature allows you to scroll through your contacts and call history from your dial. This would take the place of your last call dialog. Thank you for any advice.

I noticed that was missing as well. Hmm. I wonder if it's just a registry tweak away?

I think I found something the htcustom 1.8 has an option to enable or disable 3g dialer this makes the skin change but also give you the scrolling call history and contacts.
