'Lock' touch without using the 'Password Lock' ?

Given that the Touch screen is so gorgeous I don't want to use regular 'Password Lock' screen to lock the Touch to disable unintentional screen turn ons. I like the 'Lock' feature where the Today screen stays in view. Is there a way to enable that 'Lock' with a timeout option so that after a set period of not using it 'Locks' the screen ? I know the pwd lock works well.... but would like the other 'lock'

Good question. I would like that too. I tried the S2U2 and it causes problems with my bluetooth. S2U2 and Slide2Unlock are nice and all, but all I want is a simple automatic lock.

I really like the inbuilt 'Lock' and have configured the Red Phone End Button to Lock... but timed out option would be the best.

Is there any way / reg settings ?

I also use the "Long Press" in settings to set the call end button to lock the phone. This is a great feature over the 6700 that I have. For now I use a simple password to get the timed lock feature.

what version of s2u2 are you using? the developer is up to version 0.83 and it has been pretty stable for me. he added some cool caller id functionality that allows for full screen caller id. you should give the new version a try.

But yeah, I just use the end call button. Works very well. Probably one of my favorite features of this device thus far!
