I agree. Xt9 is terrible. I gave up and am much happier using TouchPal. Try it. It's a free download until Dec. 8. http://www.cootek.com/

I am enjoying PCM Keyboard v0.11b with the Touch skin applied.

Make sure you check the FAQ as there is a known issue with the keyboard typing only spaces, but a simple registry edit fixes it perfectly.

Does this replace "only" the 20 key touch keyboard or all of them?

It probably becomes a keyboard option, just like transcriber and Block Recognizer.

Anyone?

I am also trying Touchpal, which I am finding I am equally inept at. Right now, I seem to be doing better with the Touch Keyboard.

Check out this solution to help with the constant switching back and forth to XT9 and ABC:

Send a message via AIM to codyppc
the modaco link is somewhat helpful. i would sure like to find a way to just keep it where we got it. i think this maybe one of the only bugs i have found. there is no reason for it to switch back and forth, therefore i see it as just a bug.

thanks for the link tho
