how many version of Htc touch phones

Hi there,

i am confused

i have a touch phone which i purchased in asia
i understand that sprint and telus make the touch as well , as i was looking at the details i saw that both the telus and sprint touch have a Qualcomm® MSM7500, 400MHz processor.

Is mine the same version because when i look at my device settings it saids my processor is only 201 mhz...what the heck is that..

anyone know if this is true...thanks guys

yes its true the spritn version has the faster processor and all you have the gsm version and the sprint version is the first cdma version that has been released and they tool off the built in gps antenna and took out the wifi but gave us the processor. pros and cons to each

oh...so the one i have is 201mhz and less ram , but i get wifi.....thats it..
what would you prefer...

Yup yours has a 200MHz processor and 64MB of ram.

The new Sprint version has a 400MHz processor, 128MB of ram but lacks the wifi.

what is the difference cdma or gsm...thanks

cdma doesnt use the sim card like your gsm version does

I am aware of four touch variants, someone correct me if I'm wrong:

CDMA 400mhz, 256mb rom 128 ram, no WiFi
GSM 200mhz omap cpu, 128mb rom 64mb ram, WiFi
GSM 200mhz 256mb rom 128mb ram WiFi
GSM 400mhz 256mb rom 128mb ram, WiFi Slider, in suretype style or keypad aka Touch Dual

So, technically five, I suppose. There are also four colors of GSM Touch models...
