While that would work, it would still require some small fingers or using the stylus. I understand what he is looking for but I dont know of a fix as of yet. Stylz, think of it this way, you are actually dragging the screen instead of scrolling. It may be an adjustment, but I think you might like it better once you get used to it. Especially when you have to deal with both up/donw and left/right. Just a preference thing I guess.

I guess it would take a lot of getting used to including using the HTC keyboard bet we'll see if a hack is eventually produced.

I have also noticed that since the Touch's screen is leveled, not like the Mogul on which your fingers would hit the plastic borders of the screen, using is scroll bars is easier than on other devices.

i also notice on my touch that in PIE you can simply tap the screen on the bottom right and it scrolls down very nicely. No need to be precise at all

Plus you can either do a finger flick to do a fast scroll or you can tap and drag to scroll nice and slowly to still see what you are scrolling past. Might not be the "best" system out there, but with some practice it works better than anything else available in the PPC world.

I agree. I 'complained', more like mentioned, on my first impressions that finger scrolling was not working well for me... but I think it's just a matter of practice.
I am really enjoying the device and all the Touch-screen features. |
