Cannot get my Touch to connect...

I've spoken to three different advanced tech reps, and none of them were able to solve my issue. I've reset the ##data#, I've hard reset the phone, I've tried manual NAI/AAA settings, I've tried everything, but I can't get the internet to work on this thing. I get "Cannot connect for unknown reason", error 67, and then error 1012 when trying to initiate IOTA. The guy told me I need to go into the store and exchange for a new one, but I really don't want to go through activation AGAIN.

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and fixed it.

I was actually going to ask this question to the forums. My main question to you is where did you get it. I work at a retailer that sells Sprint. I went to sell my first touch to a frequent customer and I got the same error. After 40 minutes of reseting and re-flashing with the technical support (over the phone mind you) They came to the conclusion that the phone needed to be swapped out. She believed that the phone had a defect.
I would assume that you already had your issue resolved by now, but I was wondering if anyone else had run in to this issue?
I would like to know because I really don't feel like sending it back and having to re-sell it as a referb

Had the same issue when I first got my touch and when through all the steps you did and it still didn't work. Then the advance tech guy said let me try canceling your service and then restarting it. Bingo in about 5 mins it was up and running perfect.

Hey, yall may have already tried this, but go to start, settings, hit the connections tab at the bottom, then hit the icon connections, now hit "manage existing connections" and what should be filled in is "sprint pcs #777" it should always be on that, i know that will cause it not to connect to the net.
