Well depends on what programs you are running and when it seems to lag. If it is lagging when you are running programs from the memory card they don't run as fast as they do off of the device.

Installing to the card may be the culprit of some of the lag as stated above.
As far as deleting temp files, check SK Tools and/or MemMaid, these 2 apps can help you with that.

no its running programs from my phone..my memory card is empty right now
sometimes when i open phone dialer or looking up someone on contacts etc it lags any suggestions some one told me they could load a program http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_BatterySt..._WM5_iM_cs.htm and overclock the phone to 247 max..is it the memory or could this assist in the lagging and is it safe..would you use it..you have been very helpful...thanks pibe38 |

I'm sorry but you are confusing me now...
That link is for a Today screen plugin that reports battery status. What do you mean overclocking to 247? The Touch runs at 400 Mhz. What else do you have installed? These devices do tend to suffer from slowdowns after a lot is installed, or a heavy app/plugin is running, or even if an unstable app is intalled. Also, you said on the first post you don't have much installed on the phone, mostly on the SD card. |

um do you have a sprint touch and your "overclocking" it to 247mhx. that is for the gsm version not the sprint version the sprint touch has a 400mhx processor in it already if you are underclocking it that will make the programs lag on opening. |

no i the touch i got from asia...so mine is running at 200mhz i think and the sprint ones are running at 400mhz..holly ....
so should i overclock mine then.......i dont want to mess the phone up... why is the sprint one running so high then |

the gsm touch would more then likely freeze up if you try to overclock it that high. |
