CODYPPC...Can you help....

You created a thread in offerriing to help build cabs in the TITAN/MOGUL forum. You think you can build a cab to change the link on internet tab on the TOUCH.

Everytime I open the internet using the cube, it always launches to "Powerdeck.sprint.com" even through I changed my internet Home PAGE.
If I launch it through IE in Programs then it uses the my interent HOME PAGE.
Does anyone know how to change it to use the internet HOME PAGE when launching it through the cube?
I got this response from dwehking
"Got this from SprintUsers credit to naiserie.
to fix this, you have to open your regedit, then navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/HTC/Biotouch/APLauncher/App1
click on the 'Path' item, and change the value data to '\Windows\PIE.lnk'
i think the original value was 'Windows\SPCS_PIE.lnk' ".

Unfortunately, I never changed a regedit and I don't want to brick my new Touch.
I appreciate all the work you done on the Mogul.
I hope you do the same with the Touch.

try this. i haven't tried it yet. it should take you to your home page unless you did actually completely close IE last time you were using it. then it would take you to the last page you were at.

sorry. i didn't read your whole post. you had the right reg keys. i didn't change it to ...

\Windows\PIE.lnk

but to...

Windows\iexplore.exe

i didn't know there was a "PIE.lnk". lol.

An easier way is to just edit the SPCS_Pie.lnk file to point at whatever page you want. No registry editing necessary.

That sprint site it was orginally using as a home page SUCKED!@!@@#$#
