i had a similar issue and i resolved it by hard resetting my touch and installing spb backup first, then everything else. The reason i did it that way was because i wanted to make sure that it was working. I don't know why it is like that, but it does work. Help this helps.

I have Spb Back up and all is well, But if your trying to backup everything including data from the MOGUL errors will occur.

PPC Pim Backup
XML Comtacts Backup
Sprite Backup (Per hippity.hoppity)
Restauration 2.5.14 software download
Backup2Net 1.1 software download

Enjoy..

but i was wondering if someone could help me figure out what this really means to me...
this is from the log created after my back up. I have no clue wat this really means
Thanks in advance.

I am having a VERY similar problem, except my log reads:

2007-11-12 22:12:33 Backup process started...
2007-11-12 22:14:59 Unable to read from file "\Windows\eT9AsDb.Adb".

2007-11-12 22:15:04 Unable to read from file "\Windows\eT9Rudb.Rdb"..

Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm going to go out on a limb and take a guess that it is having trouble opening the predictive keyboard dictionaries (ie eT9xxxx).
