Is there an edit out there that can speed up the responce of the dialer? It seems that when you press the numbers they take 1-2 seconds to recognize.

Disable DCIM folder from the registry:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\General
DWORD Value: EnableDCIM
DWORD Data: 0

Allow Date & Time File Name Prefix:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\General
DWORD Value: FilenameType
DWORD Data: 1

Change the Source of the Snap Sound:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Common
String Value: SourceOfSnapSound
Value: \Windows\Snap.wav

Poke around those two key locations above and you will find most of your UI tweaks.

Store Pictures Automatically in a Time Stamped Folder:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\Captparam\
DWORD Value: EnableDateFolder
DWORD Data: 1

SKTools and Tweaks2k2

I hope this post isn't out of line, but a great deal of the hacks I have read so far can be done automatically with Tweaks2k2 and SKTools.

I prefer SKTools as it does a lot more than just hack the system, but you can download Tweaks2k2 and run it 3 times for free.

Here are the websites:

The problem, as mentioned earlier is an audio delay. I like to have some feedback when I push a button, so I use the attached vibrate file. It has quick response, and still some feedback.

I got it from some where else on PPCGeeks. So thanks to who ever created it!
