"Battery icon" at bottom right of screen?

So for the first time in 2 years, I wiped my HTC Touch and reinstalled everything.

Only in trying to get things to look the way I had, I now have what looks like a horizontal battery with green bars. I have no clue how this got on my today screen, nor how to get rid of it.

The only configuration apps I have installed are HTC Home Customizer and Advanced Configuration. I've looked through both of those, but don't see any setting for that battery.

Any ideas?

If you open up Advanced Config there is an option in one of the catagories that you can select to show a power icon on the today screen in the system tray(I think that's what they call it). That option is probably enabled.

It's a registry tweak. I changed mine and can't remember what i changed. Want to get rid of it myself. Found the info originally on this forum. Hope that helps.

Here is the Reg Path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\Power

set "ShowIcon" to "0" (to turn it off) or "1" (to turn on)
