I used it and ended up uninstalling it. Do you have Resco File Explorer. If you do, go into menu, options, general. Then go through the tabs and then go back. When you go back the font on the page starts deleting and getting funky. This is just one example. Also, when I went to save a file from an email and I choose to save it on the card, when the drop donw box goes up and down it screws up the font on the page. It did not do all of this until after I soft reseted the device after installing the program.

Wow, glad it's not just me. I posted a similar question on 24th..... The file size would not let me post the image. Even as a jpg the file is larger then allowed for upload. Some help be greatly appreciated. Maybe a breif description of the process in the first post would help too. Thanks. ](*,)

Someone needs to make those Black-glassy icons for HTC Sprint Home.

How did you change the icons on the Sprint Plugin to slingplayer & opera?

Killabee44 11-28-2007 09:00 PM

That's not my home screen. It's one that another user here posted. I was just trying to find out where I can find that home screen background.

Yes I second this thought. I think the glassy look would make the HTC home plug-in look a lot hotter than it already is.

Wisbar Advance Desktop allows you to remove the bottom bar and use your whole screen for whatever you want. You can use any icon for a shortcut and drag it anywhere on the screen. You can even remove your top bar if you wanted to and really use the full screen. Its a must have program IMO.

Also, for people having problems with WA3, WA2 has been stable on my device....To bad we cannot use WA3 as it had some cool features but, until the issues get worked out with the disappearing of the font with certain applications it is just not usable.

This is exactly what I need. Tell me more. Right now I have HTC Home, then under that my stock Live Search bar, then under that Pocket Sports Center.

I want to keep all that but remove the softkeys for Calander (left) and iContacts (right). I want to replace those with icons if I could. Seems you have it figured out.

I also have Vistahide Batt Gauge & Quick Menu and want to keep those.

If you got them to work with HTC Home then I would LOVE to have them. Maybe you can just e-mail 'em to me. How would I get them to replace the current icons? RT4U2NV@yahoo.com

Check the FAQs sticky, then go to the WeatherPanel section and click the link for the PhatPhinger theme. The one I'm using is the smallest layout included.

Is pocket plus causing issues with your touch, i heard some saying that it causes the phone app to pop up unexpectedly.

Nice backround by the way, very seductive ;-)

Thanks. It was at first, but in the Options menu of HTC Home Customizer there's an option to turn off the Titlebar clock, turn it off and no problems.

Not much changed on my Today screen beside the theme (Megadeth / Gears Of War). But I spent all weekend customizing my cube and need to show it off.

How did you get your WeatherPanel to look like that with the big weather icon in the background?

And what is that clock app you have at the bottom with all the icons in it? I'm using HTC Home 6-button and it doesn't look like that. Is that the one that comes standard with the Touch?

I installed the same weather layout you have with the stardock icons, but my temp. is covered by one of the icons. Did you have the same problem, and if so what did you do? Thanks.

The dialer is already skinnable, you just have to edit each and every NmBt#up_Port.png and NmBt#dn_Port.png (replacing # with the number you want to edit). Making a CAB for this is my next project (unless someone beats me to it).

Any suggestions for color and style?

Know what? I was completely wrong...well, not completely. The number pngs are only the number themselves. they have a transparent background and just the number. To edit the background of the buttons, all you have to do is edit the Dialer_BkgP.png for Portrait, or the Dialer_BkgL.png for Landscape (I think most of us use Portrait, but you never know). So, skinning the dialpad should be easier than skinning anything else!

Edit: Dangit! Wrong again. You also have to edit the dlrback_port.png or dlrback_land.png as that's what will show through on the transparent parts of the buttons.

Nope, search up the Vista Cube thread. When media player is playing, youre cube will look like that!

Yes, a million dangits later and you will be where I am! Theres a dialer skinner app that is out there to creat a folder of all the images, but it just doesnt do exactly what i want. On my mogul I used the Mogul Big Button dialer which when installed created a \PhoneSkin directory which had all the dialer images so it was really easy to created one big dialer image and splice it up just the way it was in that folder. Unfortunately that dialer cab gets all funky when you install it on the touch. So if you could figure out all the images and registry edits and then make a cab to create a folder like that, i would be happy to create a few skins to overlay on your cab and post them!
