I got my mobile shell unpinned, any idea on how to unpin the date for the today screen? It is the normal one that already is on the Touch. Thanks.

to thisey all, just put HCC on my touch, I notice in the first page blaqdymun notes she changed the transparency level, where is that setting, or is it a reg hack?

basically my goal is to get my background image to show up without so much fade (the picture is almost unrecognizable)

I played with downloads and got the transparent background setting, however my actually background image is faded beyond belief, is there a reg tweak for this?

put the image on your phone and click onthe image through file explorer than tap and hold to get the menu and than choose as background and coose the transperancy and that will do it for you.

You can also open the program "pics and videos" and choose a picture for a background that way. it also give you the option of fade level.

Are you talking about the one that is on the top of the HTC Home plugin? That's a part of the plugin. if you press the Quick Launch tab you'll see that the date disappears and it says "Launcher". There's no way that i know of to move that.

Here is what I ended up with after 2.. or was it 3 hard resets for stupidity in Total Commander.. be careful not to accidentally edit a registry key folder and not realize it, or simply not know what it should be set back to prior to a soft bounce... :)

Someone posted a reg tweak for the phone pop-up issue I believe there is a whole thread for it actually,. something to do with the battery indicator, it worked for me, but after the last hard reset I haven't put spb4 back on yet so it hasn't started again.

I'm a complete newb to all this customization stuff, this is actually my 1st smartphone and was wondering if anyone would be able to put together a step by step set of instructions on how to customize my HTC Touch, including all the necessary programs and how to get them.

okay, so I searched this whole section and I didn't find what were looking for. I have a customer who needs a NC panthers today theme and a NC tarheels theme for the touch. Can I request that here or do I need to go somewhere else. Whoever can make it, please pm me and let me know if it's possible! Thanks courtney

okay this might be a noob question. but im a noob so hopefully sum1 can help, lol... how do i change the background picture???

Go to Start > Settings > Today and it'll allow you to browse for a background.

okay, now that i have that selected, theres like a white layer over the image making it foggy like... how do i make it look like the normal pic?

First go into the Program "Pictures & Videos" (not picture album) open a picture, then press menu and choose "Set as Today Background" it will then let you choose the level of "fog" to put over your picure.

great thanks... now onto the good stuff, lol... what app can i create themes with? (multiple background phots) for 240x320 and 320x240. also i saw someone had a custom quickbar photo as well... i love the Touch!!!

It is storyr's phatfinger theme II theme. Do a search in pocket pc software, he has the icons and themes. Just choose the 240x320 220 pixel (I think that is the size in the picture) theme.

Okay yeah, that REALLY kicks ass KoukiFC3S. That's something I'd actually use on my device without modification... nice one!

I use Spb Pocket 4 for the tabs on top and went into their official forums to find the icons.
The clock is HTC Plus! which is available in this forum.
Weather is weatherpanel from this forum again.
For the black taskbar it took me a while to find it. I unfortunately forgot where I got it but I will attach it in my post.
That's pretty much it. Since it's not really that much modification it still runs super fast!
