Thank you very much to both of you for answering my questions! I really appreciate it!

Now don't go having too much fun with the Touch

I guess I'll throw in another request... does anyone still have the Mogul and the Touch? Would love to see some good comparison pictures.

I'm starting to consider the Touch. I hadn't had issues with my Mogul, even with the newest ROM until I opened my mouth and posted about it. But I won't go off topic

If you can finger-scroll, how do you select text in e-mails/SMS?

* Scroll down contacts.
* Scroll down e-mails list.
* Scroll down within the e-mail itself (opened e-mail).
* Scroll down on 3rd party apps, Newsbreak specifically if anyone uses it.

Thanks
I have a Newsbreak license and will try to remember to try it tomorrow. Feel free to PM me if I forget!

It takes a bit of getting used to and finesse, but it's based on if you pause for a split second before scrolling.

I just figured out something pretty cool with the touch. If I swiped side to side while in my Hotmail account I ended up scrolling between my SMS account MMS account and my other email account. That's definitely a really nice bonus. I'll have to see where else that works.

I also just noticed if I swiped side to side I ended up scrolling between email messages.

Oh, man, I can't wait. How fast is the cube? I'm curious because I like the little mail button on my Mogul, and I'd like to just be able to tap that instantly.

I'm quoting this from another thread, but it has some pretty cool videos on how the Touch works, etc. Thanks to monster28 for the link!

Picked mine up earlier today, replaced by 6700 with it...i have to say i am really loving it so far...the whole device seems a lot more refined than my 6700 (even though i had the helmi upgrade on the 6700). The touch feels so eerily light in my hand and especially in my pocket...i am sure I am going to forget carrying this thing around a lot more as it's so small. The finger scrolling thing works everywhere and it's great, even works in Opera Mini 4 Beta 3, almost feels like the iphone browser. I am also digging the htc keyboard, very responsive and usable. Overall I am very happy with the upgrade, all except for the lack of wifi. Does anyone know if the wifi radio is on the device and disabled or completely missing? If it's the former, i hope someone figures out how to enable it!

I'm pretty sure it's been removed... unlike GPS/AGPS, it would make no sense to release a device with wifi turned off.

I'm not saying the Touch has/does not have GPS/AGPS, I'm just saying that sometimes carriers block it so later on they can offer their own nav software. But with wifi it would have no purpose... at least that I can think of.
