The new version of PPCK will no longer care about the XIP.bin files because the XIP is made on the fly. You will only need to update one other file too!
Coming very Soon!
I'm thinking about crerating my own ROM, since I don't need a lot of add ins.
I have followed all the directions for using PPCKitchen and have configured the 23506 ROM, as per your instructions. Should I choose items from the kitchen list or flash generic, for the first time? If I flash generic, are most of the programs that come with 23506 included?
Thanks

Welcome!

Flash a clean "generic" ROM first.
Then once that worked build your ROM selecting the items you want.
Have Fun!

Just updated my ppc kitchen BuildOS and now it will not load in Vista. Updating again to see if it fixes it.

Did you download the Installer today? They have updated it since yesterday.

Steps:
Removed your old kitchen.
Install.
Run the updater.
Should then work fine.

If anyone is having troubles with the New BuildOS please go to PPCKitchen.org and check out the Bug section and/or go to Live Chat.

For some reason 28002 does not like the Vogue. Large programs like TomTom will not load due to insufficient memory, even when nothing else is loaded but the ROM and TomTom. Was slower moving, probably due to the size. Had to go back to 23506 for stability.
