Re: *Updated: September 9th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

Yea that it was i thought... i have previously used 6.5 on my 6700 and that would have to be charged constantly but of course that was an old phone. I really want 6.5 on my 6900 because it is a more capable phone with more memory...this sucks.. but NFSFAN's 6.1 ROM is great, battery is nice and great stuff =) Please someone release a 6.5Rom with great battery life!

I use this ROM and turn off voice command since i dont use it and check my email manually. and the battery life is fine for me. I use the internet alot on it and at the end of the day I have around 60% left.

Wow mines way better then that!
Just kidding!

Turning of the automatic fetching of mail improves the battery a lot! I used to have it on and my battery life sucked 15 - 20 percent by 10pm... Now it is around 70 to 80 percent!

Best advice, if you don't need to have your e-mail right away don't use it!

Re: *Updated: September 9th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

Great info guys, now I think that I am really going to use this ROM for my 6900. I just hope that it is nice and smooth, i know that the 6900 isnt a powerhouse device with a powerful processor but it should be enough. Also can I install this ROM and then transfer over the carrier cab to my device since I do not have a MicroSD card?? I know that this is a carrier generic ROM, i am just curious

Re: *Updated: September 9th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

Hey!! I've been trying to install the upgrade un my vogue but it basicaly disconnects from the PC and the instalation just gets interrupted saying "error, your device was disconnected from usb".. I think it has to do with activesync not staying connected to the ppc when it boots to the multi-color screen.. Any advice on that matter would be appreciated.. Thank you so much.

Have you unlocked your device?

If not: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20370 (you'll want the 2.31 unlocker)

Re: *Updated: September 9th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

Any plans to get the CDMA dialer to look like the GSM version?

*Sidenote...look for the cab SmartLock for WM6.5...basically makes the default WM6.5 lock screen to act something like S2U2. To where it will lock on wakeup/in-call/out-call/etc. Password optional.
