so, if I install the carrier cab, I don't have to do the agps hack? my gps works, but seems really slow to lock.

It has been stable for me. and yes you have to unlock your phone before you flash any custom rom for the first time. Once its unlocked it stays unlocked. Just make sure you read up on unlocking and flashing your phone first so you don't screw up your phone...

Just flashed, all my issues from my last rom are solved. How old is this one? This thread makes it seem new but the post at XDA is from March?

NFSFAN updates his ROM often and this one was released on monday. The actual thread over at xda just keeps getting updated and the one at ppcgeeks is just to let every one know about NFSFAN's work. V11 is his best rom yet!!!

It turns the registry setting for aGPS to on.
So try it out, it worked for me.

I found the fix. The problem was that I used the Advanced Config. That module apparently causes the dialer to not respond to answer a call. Doing a Google search pointed me to a cab that I had to install to make the registry change. The cab was called: Shaggy's SuspendResume777 which fixed it. ---------------
