jtuite, can you tell me if all of verizons text, video, picture and so on text messaging works? I think I read somewhere in the 38 pages that it does but I just wanted to confirm it. I had a i760 and it wasnt compatible with text messages that had little sounds or smilies. Thanks for your super fast responses, really looking forward to checking out your roms. Also wondering what you changed in your latest custom rom that you posted.

I have another question: I have read that after updating your radio (ie. 3.42.50) from the stock version 3.37.78, am I able to revert back. If I need to flash back to stock for repairs or something? I am new to this and have been reading alot to try to get a grasp on this. Im not sure if once updated and then running the verizon stock rom if it reverts the radio back and if that messes it up. Can you clarify this for me?

I don't know about the smileys and sounds I never used them. I just have it updated to the newest ROM 23007 as of right now and I just made it look nicer.

Also curious about these GPS Instructions. I noticed that this is for aGPS, which i think stands for assisted GPS, but I digress. I need to use standalone GPS, will this still work? Also, can you tell me the benefit of updating the radio? I see that those instructions state that it will work with any radio version.

yes it will still work without AGPS enabled just fine, it will take longer to lock on is all. updating the radio I think helps with reception and GPS but I am not sure to what extent. it might do something else but I don't exactly know what.

J.T. did you fix/update the threaded sms and dual connection manager icon problems that were in 23001 for 23007?

I'm getting an error extracting 23007. Everything extracts but i get this error from winzip
Extracting RUU\RUU_signed.nbh Error: CRC mismatch in file "RUU\RUU_signed.nbh" in the archive "C:\Documents and Settings\ Downloads\23007_verizon.rar"
Tried winrar, says file is corrupted.

the double icon and sms should be fixed, I cant test it at the moment tho. I will upload it again it might not have uploaded right
