it is personal preference really 23001 and 21921 are the latest of my ROMs. I am hearing that they changed how the start menu behaves in 21921.

it means it can be installed for any carrier you just need to install your carriers cab files. you can get them all here. it is codybear's Nfsfan's wm6.5 Rom Faq over at XDA. the link is also in his signature for a whole lot more FAQs.
it is pretty hard to brick these things.

Just tried to flash 21921. Everything went through ok but when it reboots the screen won't come up. It goes black.

so when you flash it does it gets to the home screen? and if it does do a soft reset without adding any extra programs or restoring ur phone and see what happens. i had that happen before but it was after I restored my phone from a previous backup.

For 23001 should we continue to use the 21806 DPI or 21921? Or is there a 23001 DPI that you could upload?

I use the 21806 DPI, the SYS folder is where the updates are done when the new build comes out for the most part. as long as that DPI is working then I see no reason to use a different one.

I did a soft reset and hard reset even reflashed and it still says complete then when it reboots it goes black. I ended up flashing 23001 and everything is working but have a few problems. Connection manager under system/settings is in there twice and when I click on text messaging setting nothing comes up. I can't disable threaded texting. Everything else so far is good to go. =D>

ok thanks for letting me know I will yank it and upload another 21921, I am trying to fix the extra icon issues and will upload another one later.

Just wanted to drop some thanks to JT. I was on the fence line bout flashing a 6.5 ROM to my VZ 6900 and after reading forever on the site and then hitting this thread went ahead and took the plunge and downloaded 21234. Loved it but noticed that you were using 21806 so changed it over to that one and even better than the other one was. They all were telling the truth in the threads saying that it becomes addicting flashing new roms and seeing how they compare. the only real update im looking for adding is basically more options on the home screen and maybe under the start menu area like in NFS' 6.5 rom. But for all the basics needed plus some other fun stuff.. this has been the best so far. Great Job.
