Re: UPDATED_JTs_VOGUE_ROM_21806_21847_23028

21806 is the first 6.5 ROM I have run, unfortunately it does not support kenetic scrolling inside MSOffice or Notes and since I made my scrollbars small I almost can't use MSOffice. Do any of the newer builds support kenetic scrolling inside MSOffice?? Or will I have to make my scrollbars larger...

Easiest solution is to just do a regedit and make the bars larger yourself.

no the newer builds dont support kenetic scrolling inside MSOffice, I dont know if there is a reg edit that can be done, or maybe if u add touchFlo it might work

Re: UPDATED_JTs_VOGUE_ROM_21806_21847_23028

just flashed my vogue with your rom and i must say i am impressed with what youve done, just got a few questions... im with bell and i didnt install my dcd but gps and internet is still working does it matter if i leave it like this?

also ive been wondering if theres a way to remove the battery gauge from the task bar and restore the htc task manager in the top right corner as i use it a lot.

thanks for the input

it should be fine I never run my dcd cabs and never had a problem. if you are using the 23028 ROM then I don't think that there is anyway to remove the batt gauge because I have read that it is hard coded into the ROM and htc task manager sort of works it just doesn't close programs by hitting the X button, and the tab lays over the clock in the corner, there is a way to make it transparent but I havent got that far. 21847 doesnt have that problem but it doesn't have all the GUI changes that the 230xx ROMs have, but it does run faster IMO.

do a search for sip change it is a program that will save your keyboard settings. I don't know about the alarm thing I don't know if it the ROM or something in the sys.

Re: UPDATED_JTs_VOGUE_ROM_21806_21847_23028

JT, Ive been away for a little while from work but downloaded the latest 23028 and liked this one a bit better than the rest but overall the new buttons that are at the bottom of the screen kind of bothered me. One feature that i really did like alot was the adding of when you tap the battery meter or the signal strength it pulls up the icon to be able to go like into the full battery meter or to the Comm Manager to disconnect the internet to save battery life. I thought that was a great add on that i loved from my Alltel Vougue that i had running with 6.1. Is this something that you will be including in you future builds like the 21847 or is there a cab to be able to download this to the good ole 21806?

I am not exactly sure what u mean but the 21847 has the enlarged title bar that when u touch the batt meter or signal bars it brings up a screen so u have a choice of what u want to select. I also think that it runs faster than the 21806 ROM too.

Re: UPDATED_JTs_VOGUE_ROM_21806_21847_23028

What i meant is on the 23028 build it does just bring up a row of icons at the top that lets you select without bringing up a different screen. In the 21847 it brings up another screen with the choices. Sorry i was kinda having trouble explaining what i was talking about, i have heard of an enlarged title before but never put it together what it was talking about. Personally i liked the way it worked in the 23028 build and wondered if that was something that is included in the build or something that can be downloaded in like cab form.
