Re: Vogue 21234 Rom avaliable

Im in the process of doing my multiple flashings....i flashed the stock rom and downgraded my radio to 3.42.30 (im on Sprint FWIW). I guess I will reflash the bell ROM to get to 3.42.50 next. Should this make any difference at all?

Shouldn't make a difference.
Just don't let customizations run and you'll be fine.
People do this all the time, and I really wonder if it's necessary to flash your carrier's stock rom, if you're just going to flash bell's stock rom,
IMO I would assume it does the same thing,
but you never really know...

Re: Vogue 21234 Rom avaliable

Everybody wanting to flash the bell rom for the radio upgrade I'm wondering if it's really worth it. I would try, but I'm with sprint. I'm sure if I do flash to bell and not let the custom run, I still won't be able to flash back to sprint, since the radio is included and its a only .30

Has anyone gotten the internet to work while roaming with this rom?

Re: Vogue 21234 Rom avaliable

One bug left and its the one that has been annoying me most...

No MMS in the arcsoft included in this rom as far as I can tell, so I ran the cab to remove arcsoft and its registry entries and installed the one I posted further back in one of these threads here. When I send a text, I cannot exit the program easily. the X doesnt seem to work and it takes several minutes for the phone to become responsive. Eventually it does work, seemingly executing at once every tap I did on the phone screen while the phone wasnt responding.

Or I just soft reset.

I know I have seen other people with mms issues here. I did the magic stoc flash then 3x flash of the custom rom...did it help with other bugs? Maybe, but the bug I was hoping to eradicate is still there.

Maybe it is the Arcsoft MMS cab i installed but I am pretty sure it is the official sprint release. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Vogue 21234 Rom avaliable

The Issue with Text messaging happened to me also, I tried Flashing the rom twice just to see if that helped but it seemed to get worse and worse, to the point where i would have to hard reset the phone and it would still lock up after the next text message i sent, I have Verizon. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Vogue 21234 Rom avaliable

So, does anyone know the differences in the different Sys bases? I was previously using this base in my kitchen, and last night decided to upgrade myself to 21725. And today I see that there's a 21803 or something similar. I know my update brought Marketplace and something else, but aside from that, what are the differences?

And to the guys above me, I had an issue before with Arcsoft MMS, but after a reflash it was fixed. That doesn't seem to be the case for you guys. It could be the cabs you are using. I have a verizon Arcsoft MMS and a generic one, would either of you like me to send them your way to see if it solves the problem?

you shouldn't have to do the stock ROM thing, I have Verizon and can't test the sprint ROM. as far as Verizon I never had problems with my mms.

Re: Vogue 21234 Rom avaliable

One other issue I was hoping to be resolved...GPS is spotty lately. It may be specifically an issue with google maps, as ms live search gets a lock fairly quickly and google basically poops the bed. If I start live search first google then gets a lock. This hasn't happened with any other ROM I have tried so far.

G-maps has been sketchy lately anyway...it always seems to be crashing no matter what ROM I am sporting.

EDIT: I ried running NFSFAN's Sprint GPS fix cab. I think it may have helped, I am able to get a lock with Google maps now. Yahoo 2 go still tells me that the device's GPS is not turned on and wont let me access it.
