vin255764,
I was looking around the registry and I haven't been able to figure out how to disable psXPshut. Can you enlighten me? Maybe you can answer another question I have, this is sort of off topic... Do you happen to know what program modifies the taskbar so that whenever you click on the taskbar it shows battery, sound, backlight, etc settings as a large icon menu??? Thanks for any help you can give me and a big thanks for my favorite 6.5 ROM!!! |

I need to be able to use ## codes, but they are not working with the dialer you have included in this ROM.
I followed the directions in the first post to change the registry entry and soft reset, but the same dialer still comes up and the ## codes do not work. How can we use ## codes on this ROM or should I simply dump it and use a different ROM where they do work? EDIT: It looks like something keeps re-enabling the dialer skin... I have used 2 different registry editors (and I KNOW how to edit the registry) but the value is always re-enabled after a soft reset. People need to quit putting broken software in their roms. --goes back to cooking own-- Last edited by lotherius; 07-24-2009 at 04:17 AM. |

Re: 07.21.09 WinMo6.5 Sprint,Bell ROM SYS 23008 .NO MANILA
Vin, I installed your latest rom yesterday and I have to say it is amazing! I had a few questions though.
1) Is there any way to make it auto-lock when you hit the power key? I hate having to go to start-> lock. Also related to the lock screen, is there a way to show upcoming appointments on that screen like S2U2 does? 2) I've tried adding my appointments panel to the front page, but it never seems to show up. I'd like to see what my next few appointments are. The panel is in CHomeEditor or whatever it's called, but it never actually shows on the main page. *UPDATE* Fixed using CHomeEditor, going to that panel, editing it and turning the Registry key from *Disable* = 1 to Disable = 0. The Calendar now shows on my home screen! */UPDATE* 3) I'd like to add the icon you used for google maps to the "add application" panel, but I've searched and I can't seem to find it. Is there a place where all of your app icons that you use in your menu are located? 4) I've read in NSFAN's forums that he recommends that you flash his rom 3x before using it. Should I have done this for yours too? 5) For the iContact program, is there any way to edit it so that I can put a close button on it? I hate trying to have to tap the top left to get out of the damn thing. Is there some trick I'm missing? 6) Does anyone know what weather setting I need to use to get S2U2 to display it on the lock menu (I'm using it temporarily until I can get the phone to lock on power button press)? Thanks again! It's so nice to not have a really buggy system *stares at 6.1 menacingly* your ROM is fast and easy to use. Thanks again! Last edited by uofirob; 07-24-2009 at 10:53 AM. |
