[UPDATED 7/9/09] WDM's Generic Diamond Themed WM6.1 and WM6.5 ROMs!!!

I flashed the Version 4 and then Installed a M2D.cab over it and they are working ok together with a couple of bugs and running at 33-39 percent. Is it possible to cook a M2D rom with the version 4 which is basically WM 6.5 beta right?

(just my 2 cents, but i have to agree that you've stripped 2.4 too clean for (I suspect) most users, especially until you get a working full version up. if i still have to install and configure tabs for opera, maps, and audio manager in addition to all the other stuff i needed to add to clean, there's not much point in my moving up from 1.6.)

This is only I guess since I haven't had a chance to try 2.4, but this is WM 6.5, isn't it?

I haven't grabbed beta 4 yet, but from the comments i am surmising that its a 6.5 beta. As far as M2D with it, I dont know...I am waiting on a new full 6.1 M2D rom before I check out the beta, getting my phone just the way I like it after a flash takes too long to do a "cool, lets see" flash.

WDM - So far I am loving the Beta. Much better layout for the way I use the phone. (Which is for phone, outlook email, and a little surfing and not much else.)

I cant get this damn custom weather to work!!! Keep getting unable to retrieve data for the selected city error. I installed the n2a patched manilla2d.exe file and added my custom city but nothing is working!!

I still love Beta4 but activesync stopped syncing with our outlook server. I have to go back to 2.4 until this can be resolved. Is this still a problem with 6.5?

Sticking with 4 for a little while now that I understand what it is.

Anyone know if it's possible to
1) edit the favorites in the 4 beta
2) add new rows to the big slidey menu (weather? location?)
3) change default browser

also- i get no data in google maps.

WDM - With 6.5 obviously being the future for all this stuff, are you going to be focusing on the beta, or can we expect a 2.4 full that's ironed out to the same extent 1.6 full was?

OK you guys got it....4.0 is WM 6.5, and it's stable that what I've been using and I just got my phone today....so now i can try to fix some issues

This was my personal ROM I used for along time, but now I released it

Have fun, but I will not be bringing out a 4.1 anytime soon!!!

2.4 clean carriers and full will come first

(DONT USE M2D IN 6.5 OR TOUCHFLO 3!!!! It will screw up 6.5 completely because it has it's own Naive Scroll now!!! M2D only works fully with TouchFlo 3!!!)
