Maybe save you a little time...for the meanwhile anyway. Pretty sure you cannot get VZ nav working, unless you find a way to hack the VZW Authentication checks against VZNav provisioned accounts. I say this, as a vzw employee, because I have installed (and posted to another forum) .cab files for VZ Nav and some program called LPSTargetutility that I came across during product testing. They came as a pair, though I can't for the life of me figure out what the LPS program is for (Location Positioning maybe?). I can run basic functionality of vz nav by using favorites as the search method (weather, movies, etc), but if I ask it to pull my current gps location, I get "Service Authorization Error: Please call *611 to verify that you are provisioned to use VZ Navigator [30]" As a tech with switch access, I can see accounts that do have the necessary provisioning (like 6800's, Blackberries, etc) after they have the $9.99 VZ Navigator for Advanced Devices feat added to their accounts. However, the way systems work at VZW, there is an 'allowable' list of features to add (so numbskulls don't add a blackberry feature to a ppc, i.e.), and until VZW let's this ROM loose officially, they won't add the necessary VZ Nav feat to that list.

Sorry so long winded, but wanted to explain that it is not a doubt of your abilities, but an authentication check, that makes me skeptical of a solution right now. Good news is I know some at VZW are testing this ROM right now before it's final ok, so hopefully will be able to add feature soon. But, I did say I have no idea what that LPSTargetUtility does, so if there's a magic key in there, please let me know!!!!!!

I know. I think I said in another post I cannot get it working. In my nuetered VZW ROM on the other link I removed your obfuscation system and replaced it with stock drivers. It works great with TOM TOM 7 and Live Search. Not a hiccup. If I could get a driver that would allow VZNav to work that would be icing on the cake but in all reality if you want an unlocked phone you more than likely will not want VZNav anyway. With my nuetered ROM you get the best of both worlds. Standard GPS and full stock ROM. Cool or what?

VZ nav requires the VZw LBS driver from the stock rom as well as the security certificates. I played arround with it on the titan it appears its either stock gps other carrler dll's or the vzw proprietary one for vzw nav not both. VZ nav will not even open without having the lbs driver and root certifcates in the rom. After that it requires an active subscription which you can't add at this point for the 6900 as its not officially released.
