OMJ's 3.03, 3.09, M2D WM6.1 Custom Touch ROMs w/ User Customization! Updated 9/26/08

just for the hell of it I'll tell you guys that I haven't had any out of ordinary issues and I've been running the sprint rom prior to this (3.03.02) since July 23.

The only rare problem I had was the bluetooth disapeared and I couldn't enable it int he data connection menu and it totally gone from the quickmenu. I soft rebooted and it worked fine.

Also sometimes the data connection dies for no reason and I soft reboot to get it back.

I don't really see a need to upgrade for two minor file changes.

The hardware button issue is not part of QM, it is AEBPlus (key mapping app), I have it set by default to left long press= start menu, right long press= ok/close. These can be changed/modified or removed in AEBPlus settings.

Here is what I have found...

Not sure what causes the Mark All As Read after the ArcSoft install, but the Mark All As Read is from an MSWM6 SDK and I just reinstalled it to get it to work again. (I used http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=379265 it is a "safe" version as the page says it just confirms the delete all)

Ahhh, I disabled AEB, so that would explain while it stopped....now I can re-enable it and just alter the config.

As for the Device Name thing, I did some more testing and I can't find a pattern whatsoever...It stays when I reboot or soft reset. No clue what is causing it...still researching, but the number keeps changing.... WINDOWSMOBILE12, WINDOWSMOBILE64, WINDOWSMOBILE76, etc.

Update: DAMNIT! this f'n Device Name thing is killing me. Last night it was set correctly last night, woke up this morning and the damn name changed again this time WINDOWSMOBILE16. As for apps I have installed, Nothing 'new' has been installed that I didn't have installed on your ROM you had out in early June (I think the last ROM you made carrier specific)

Any chance there might be another update or do you think just using the radio in that release and then loading this version 3.03.04 would still give us the same GSP response but with the tools you have already included..

I havent been able to keep up w/ the site....been too busy....I saw the new Bell update, but not sure yet if I will switch to it....if the concensus says it's far better, then I'll check it out.

If the Bell users want a custom rom based on the new Bell rom, I can whip one up.

Yes. This new ROM is really awesome... GPS is now fixed, the overall speed is fast and the memory utilization is low...
I think you should consider using this one ...
