I have even amplified them by 300% and they still are not loud. I have no clue how to figure this one out.

hmmm, i use soundforge, change the sounds to One chanel so it reduces size of the file, then i amplify in Audacity - my next step was to convert to m4a with quicktime to lessen file size evn more but ill give the first two steps a try and see how loud they come out.

There is an app that puts a blue box with a phone or envelope on the today screen to denote a missed call or text. When you tap that blue square, it previews the phone number or text and allows call back or reply all from the today screen. I built a 20273 rom, and couldn;t find it... I don't even know what its called, but it was always in the roms I built before... Anyone know what I'm talking about?
If you are talking about the one I think it's "MultiStatusPlugin" or something close to that. Only issue is it tries to dial a # code to get VM... not just my number.

Re: Vogue 20273 Kitchen

Those of you that mentioned .m4a ringtones (you know who you are )

What is the benefit(s) of using .m4a vs .mp3?

Another way to approach this question is to try to tether with the kitchen-based rom and if you are not successful, ask for help in getting it to work - or to try the tethering fix for sprint and if it works, to report your results.

This isn't intended as a flame at all. It is difficult for the PPCKitchen team to determine the nature of the request, if the request doesn't contain enough contextual background information.

Best regards,
-boggsie

Well puff for me they were a lot smaller and took less space. I first started using them on an a900, the Moto Q, M1, and now the the touch. They just seemed to play better and sounded alot clearer. Although I must admit, I am biased. All of my music files are either in .m4a or .aac. Saves me space on my hard drive on both my home and car systems.
