I have alot of time issues with this rom. Th gps when I have no signal changes the time and occasionally the time on the home screen says one thing but the time in the title bar says another and I have to rest inorder to correct it.
How do I set the time to sync only from the towers? (I have been unable to get the settings tab in phone)

Not to sure on how to sync from towers, but I used dcd modded carrier cab for sprint and gave me back the services tab where I could use the time synchronization. Here is the page @ xda posted earlier in this thread

Is it me or does hitting the "X" on the program completely close it?

I've set the setting for the long "X" in the phone settings, but it appear to completely close the program even when I just tap the "X"

Hit the button in the top right hand corner to open "task manager" then select the Wrench (middle button). Then you should have a tab at the bottom "Button" - go there and choose "End programs by tapping/holding X"

actually it will completely close it if you choose not to or not in the task manager because quick menu overrides it so make sure you set the X button in quick menu as well so that it will not close completely :)

I've used several ROM's including one of my own.

Yours works very well and I wanted to personally thank you for that.

Lots of changes and newer versions of programs out... I watched your vid you posted on youtube about the new ROM.

Are you still on schedule to release it soon?

PS - Where can I get this "Oprah" programs from? :)

Yes I will release it soon. I am running into some issues that I have to work out before release.

Haha I meant to say Opera I for some reason always call it Oprah Im not sure why its just stuck in my head that way! :)

Dette, another ? for ya.

Is it possible to map the following command:

Long end key > "Quick List" menu > "Lock Device" = S2U2 ?

Basically, long end > lock takes it to the Slide 2 unlock and locks the phone?

I've tried both Long_End and LongPressEndKey and neither work.

I then went to look at the registry and realized there's no reg editor in this rom...?

Edit: Just mapped the Button 1 long key to S2U2, gave up on the other.

No there is no reg editor..

Does anyone know if there is a progam to prompt during the USB connection, like it does on Dette's ROM ? I loved that option, to pick USB connection, ActiveSync, or Internet Sharing.. It stopped working, and I dont know how to reinstall/reactivate it.

This ROM is not carrier specific so all you have to do for any carrier is flash then install DCD carrier .cab...

Has anyone had issues with this ROM with the bluetooth in their car? I have a bmw 330i where the responds extremely slowly and looses the bluetooth connection with the phone when I navigate any controls directly from the car. This includes making calls, answering calls, browsing the phone book. There is an extreme delay. Any ideas?

Also at times, while talking on the bluetooth, it disconnects completely putting the call audio back on the phone.

Wow that's quite odd. As far as I know, this ROM does not have it's own Bluetooth Stack (though that would be quite the feat). I'm not sure why this would be occurring but was it happening before with the stock ROM? If you can, re-flash to default ROM then try; if it doesn't have problems at all, that would be very strange but report back...

I would be surprised if this ROM was interfering because AFAIK, ROMs are merely 'stripped' then 're-beefed' versions of the stock with many customizations but rarely heavily modified system configurations...

I love this Rom but have few problems that are really annoying. The first is whenever I receive a call my phone doesn't receive the phone number of the person calling so it always says "unknown caller", and when I go to my call history list all of the incoming calls are blank. Not even a time stamp. The second is that I cant find the setting to change the GPS to location on. I have looked everywhere and it isn't in the phone settings like I thought it was. Therefore I cant get the GPS to work. The last problem is the HTC youtube app gives me an error saying I need more free storage space. When I have no other programs running. Can someone please help me. Thanks!

I reflashed last night and tried it this morning with the car. Unfortunately its the same results. I can't make an outgoing call directly from the car. The phone book doesn't load. Not sure what the difference between this ROM and the stock rom (sep release) is for the bluetooth features, but it works with that release.

I really love this ROM. If there's anything diagnostic you'd like me to run or have any other suggestions, I'd gladly try it. Thanks

Your results are weird because I was able to do everything your saying you cant. I'm sure its been suggested but have you tried a hard reset? When I had initial issues with this rom I did a hard reset and it fixed all of them.

I am also puzzled.. I dont have bluetooth issues at all.. I dont use it much but I usually use it to do file transfers from me friends Q and my Touch and it does it really fast and without problems

For your 2.4 release could you put a version of Jbed Java back in it (Opera Mini stinks in JBlend)?

Vet has the Raphael Jbed OEM in his kitchen (vOEM_Raphael_JbedJava) so it's an easy add-on.

I can definitely add my comments about the bluetooth problems. I tried for a week to figure it out, but I had to go back to my previous rom (dharvey).

With the Dette 2.3 rom my Plantronics bluetooth headset would only answer a ringing phone about 25% of the time. The rest of the time the phone would just keep ringing.

In other words, when a call comes in I press the button on the headset. With other roms the call is answered immediately. With this rom it's very unreliable.

It was only a problem answering calls. I never noticed a bluetooth problem when placing calls.

I flashed to OMJ's ROM last night and the Bluetooth works fine. No more problems. I do miss Dette's Rom though :(

I finally got my GPS to work, but now the only thing that is bothering me about this rom is when I recieve a call and press answer it delays about 4sec before it connects the call. Any ideas? Can I remove the preloaded slide to answer and just use S2U? because I know that runs quick and smooth

it might be the 'good old dialer issue' that people have (i dont personally have this problem
try installing a different dialer thats for CDMA

Not sure about the "good old dialer issue" but I can definitely report after a day of using it that the WDM 1.6 Diamond rom does not exhibit this problem with my phone. Here's a link to the rom - it seems pretty similar to Dette's:

As functional as that ROM is you will see that when you run into a problem there, no one will be around to help so much as there is in this thread.:scratch:

Well I want to help :) I want to know the people who use my ROM can feel free to ask questions about it (however "noobish" they may be) and get a good answer either by me or another member who uses my ROM.

Dette's ROM is so awesome I'm even trying to help even though I'm actually USING a Touch Diamond without his ROM obviously, lol.

I really want to learn about this Bluetooth issue because it perplexes me why it would be a problem with his unless he modified some of the bluetooth settings...
