Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

Okay that fixed some errors, and created others. When it gets to dialers I get duplicate guid errors. After a few dozen of those Build OS crashes and wants to send an error report to microsoft. I think in all the trying to fix things I ****ed it all up worse!

Two possabilities immediately come to mind:
  1. You have an user OEM with the same GUID as a kitchen OEM
  2. You have identified both a rar and a directory, so BuildOS is trying to load in duplicate kitchens
Try this:

Code:
SelectionsVersion=.90.04
KitchenDir=Kitchens\Vogue_Core
ModuleDir=kitchens\SYS_20270_QVGA
ModuleDir=kitchens\Generic_OEM
ModuleDir=kitchens\Drivers_Vogue
ModuleDir=kitchens\Carriers_Vogue
ModuleDir=kitchens\000_Shareware
ModuleDir=kitchens\PPCGeeks_OEM
ModuleDir=USER_OEM
ExtraDir=
OutputDir=Temp
PreProcessTool=
PostProcessTool=
ROMDeviceType=Vogue
ROMRevType=GPS
ROMOSType=WM6.1
DeviceRUUType=Standard

Okay, here's what I did. Re-downloaded the selections.txt, deleted all the unrared folders and unrared again. Edited the selections.txt and ran it again. I'd forgotten that i'd unpacked the updated OEMs, etc on top of the others and that's where the dupe problem was. Now I'm gonna try and build my selections and see if it all goes thru.

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

It still is not working. I don't know what else to do other than ask someone to build me a ROM or just flash the stock Sprint ROM. My kitchen is broken, and I've got half a mind to delete it, all the files and not bother with it again. Even after following all the steps G'reloc has the EFOpen error and can't find the files. Guess the next thing is to take ROM chef off of my sig.

strangest thing ... I got an aGPS lock yesterday while in the office. First time I've seen it with this kitchen. I did change GPS mode to 2 a few days earlier. However, I've been unable to get it to do it again. Regular GPS locks are fine (could be better, but this is always the case ...). I find it weird that I got it to work once ... I had always assumed it was some kind of misconfig that was preventing it from working. I really don't understand how this could work once and not again.
