Just use the "old" Vogue template, you'll even keep SD!
I tried his tool and it didn't change anything the key was to remove the smartdial and everything is kosher now. I actually used it to create my dialer I am using now.

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

I've noticed some strange happenings with the newest changes. When I receive a call or dial out, my data connection disconnects, but after I hang up, it doesn't automatically reconnect data anymore (the data timer should continue).

I have no details on these, so don't take it as a bug issue just yet (read: ignore this paragraph Colonal). I've also noticed my battery draining faster (even with reg edits), but it's all emperical observation and no details. Finally, my phone connection seems a bit flaky - I dial out and suddenly get a call at the same time (with a bluetooth headset on) and it goes haywire; can't answer or dial out, stuck on 1X. In case someone notices the same issue, then mention something.

Different file but same results. I get as far as selecting the channel and it crashes. There has to be a fix for this somewhere. Thanks for your help though! I really appreciate it.

Maybe SprintTV just doesnt work in the land of cheese-heads and Badgers

I have been updating a few other things, but I have not forgotten about this. Unfortunately, whenever I try it (without a subscription that is) it seems to work fine. So, I am wondering if it isnt some sort of authentication problem. Alas, this is impossible to test without said subscription.

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

I'm still having G'Reloc errors. Even after unraring the files and turning off antivirus and running no apps it still chokes and informs me that G'Reloc:
EFOpenError: Cannot open file C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.2.7Temp\temp\dump\.ROM\\S4294967295
EFOpenError: Cannot open file C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.2.7Temp\temp\dump\.ROM\\S4294967295

I have tried everything suggested uninstalled deleted all files and folders and reinstalled twice, and am at my wit's end. For me this kitchen is useless.

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

Looked and couldn't find this issue... With this kitchen my soft reset icon stops resetting the phone eventually after I have the phone set up. It asks if I want to soft reset, and then after hitting "yes," the screen goes dark but no soft reset. I'm assuming there's a conflict with something I'm installing after flashing, but even after soft resetting after installing each program, I'm not able to narrow it down. Doesn't seem to be a consistent problem, but something that happens eventually. Anyone else experiencing this or know of a registry setting I need to look at?

When you say deleted, did you delete the entire temp folder at "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\hIq Inc" ?

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

Just want to get an idea of others who used this new kitchen. How many people are finding that GPS is taking longer than previous kitchens to lock onto satellites? I'm not sure if it's a Bell issue, so Bell users, put in your input as well.

I'm finding that it's taking me well over 10 mins, sometimes 20 or never to get locks when it used to take me within a few mins. I've never had the fastest locks like people have said but I never had it take this long ever. Seeing what others are feeling.

Problem solved! It was the same as s2p... WMP needs a skin, so the Touch WMP Skin solved the problem nicely! =D>
