I installed S2P .40 through a cab and i would get a "This function is only valid in Win32 mode." error message. Any ideas?

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

I am wondering if there is a fix for this... When I'm in my list of contacts and want to search down to the letter "V"... I would click on "uvw" twice and it would jump me down...

In the pass it would display the first name beginning with "V' at the very top... In this release, it displays it at the very bottom, so you would have to scroll down to see the rest...

Is there a quick fix to this..?

Thanks...

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

It appears that Carrier Selection for Telecom NZ is broken in this release.

If you cook a ROM with "Telecom NZ" selected previously you used to have the region set to "English - NZ" and the default Data Connection set to Telecom T3G with the correct user name and password.

This has now disappeared. Any chance of it being fixed?

Cheers, Tim

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

I've noticed a couple of things with the rom I built from this kitchen. First, the GPS does not behave as well. Google Maps does not seem to do an cell-tower approximation of your location (aGPS). Second GPS locks seem to take longer and when I try to reconnect they used to be instant - not any more. Also, Evdo indicator on the screen looks weird - seems too skinny & tall. I don't remember what it looked like before, but I find the new one sticks out as kind of ugly.

Anyone else notice these things?

Update ... turned the location setting off, then back on, then soft reset, and bingo I'm in business again with GPS. Actually may be a bit early to be certain, but I think it might have made a difference. Weird.

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

Is there a way that I can use my old selection file but use the new 20270 without having to redo all my options?

Thanks!

Sorry, what do you mean by It is fast? Is the build is BuildOS is done fast or it's the ROM in the PocketPC that is fast? (IE: does it make your ppc go faster?)

Thanks again!

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

Has anyone using Bell Mobility Carrier gotten all their programs that they've installed to appear in the "remove programs" list? I didn't get it to work and I was going to try that registry edit found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=365227
after another try at reflashing. However, I accidentally selected ISUACell as the carrier instead of Bell Mobility and when I installed programs it actually showed in the "remove programs" list. I then reflashed since I didn't know if having ISUACell as my carrier is a bad thing when I'm with Bell Mobility. Well, I reflashed and installed programs, and the programs is not listed. Everything else that I've selected to be in the rom is the same from when it appeared with ISUACell as when I had Bell Mobility. I'm thinking there's something wrong when Bell Mobility is selected. I've read somewhere others were having this problem and it seems to affect Bell people. Anyone on Bell not having this problem? Anyone have any ideas on fixing it?

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

I have the same problem with Sprint TV. It starts up. When I chose a channel it exits/crashes, leaving me in landscape mode. I tried reinstalling a sprint tv cab I had and no change.

Also dicnobar is not working for me either.

I meant the rom, as in, the speed of operation of your phone. I am using 24mb page, so that has contributed towards the speed improvement too...
