Forgive my ignorance. Flashed several different Touches with other ROMs but am looking forward to using a nice Bell one. What is the PRI file?

The PRI file you run from your windows folder (PPST.EXE) after you have the ROM loaded. it is the Original Bell PRI with Modified Settings for the GPS since Bell Does not provide a GPS enabled ROM.

So why did the other flashes work without it (both JD's and ghettofreeryder's) I never had a gps problem with those. Just trying to understand better what the file does and why I didn't need it before is all. Thanks for the help and the new rom.

Its just custom programming settings for Bell Mobility.. if you load ROM and you dont have any troubles then thats fine.. but if you have GPS Troubles it might be worth a try.

Would it be safe to run the PPST file if I have 3.42.30 radio?

The only requirement you need to meet to run the PPST is you must be on Bell Mobility
