I just received a new touch. Internet was working.. i unlocked with imcoke, and installed the m2d custom sprint rom. Now internet on the phone won't work. Should I install the iota 1128 cab?
internet does not show up in the drop down list under Phone----> Settings. also the ## commands from the dialpad don't initiate anything like ##3282# Last edited by filmshoot; 11-19-2008 at 09:42 PM. |

omj you are awesome m8... truly a gift. You don't even use the original touch but you still answer ?'s regarding it. I appreciate it. I downloaded the DCD carrier version 10/20 release here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=2869167 and internet works beautifully. My GPS wasn't working...it would always bring up the IOTA and force data provisioning and never lock on a satelite... i fixed this problem by going to the windows dir and clicking on ppst.exe soft reset...and now internet and gps works Last edited by filmshoot; 11-20-2008 at 10:25 AM. |

Hi,
I'm unable to sync my contacts and calendar after the upgrade. Any ideas? FYI-I'm running vista enterprise edition and it's a new laptop. I have not sync'd it yet with this laptop(been unable to) and have not tried it with a standard OEM ROM. Thanks. LIP |

I'm trying to find the source of a problem I'm having, thought I would check if anyone running any of the Bell ROMs have this problem:
Intermittently after the phone has been working fine for a while, I will turn it on and try to use any program to connect to the internet, and it acts like the internet is not available. No program can connect. The phone and text messaging still work, though. I soft reset, and everything is fine. This happens once or twice a day, sometimes every other day. Most of the time, my internet runs just fine. I cannot associate this with anything in particular - no programs running in background, I can't think of anything I installed that caused this to begin but it started so long ago it is hard to remember. And yes, I am in great network coverage when this happens. Thinking about doing a hard reset, but don't want to have to redo all my settings for some stuff - I know I can back up a lot, which I do, but there are certain settings that just have to be manually re-entered and I am dreading it. Questions: 1. Anyone have this problem on a Bell ROM? 2. What exactly is affected with a hard reset (contacts, emails, etc only? programs on internal storage? anything happen to external storage? Do all programs get reset, or just some?)? I'm using OMJ 3.09 custom (non M2D) with M2D update 19 running on top.
