If these settings don't get you a position fix with your GPS (in an unobstructed sky view with proper time to lock on) the GPS speed hack won't do you any good (and will just give you an opportunity to possibly brick your phone).

Another thing to include is what Google Maps says while you try & use the GPS, some have reported troubleshooting help with Google Maps' output.

I'm very sure done all above setting as you mentioned. Yes, I use "Use GPS" command on Google Maps and the screen keep saying ... Seeking GPS Satellites (0) and GPS device (0) ...
But once when I'm using ghettofreeryder's ROM, the google maps was able to view 5 GPS Satellites like I mentioned on my previous post.

Is it possible on Server IP & Port Server setting on registry and/or GPSone since my carier provider is not Sprint?

It unlocked just fine but when i go to put the rom to upgrade radio it will not complete and if i do the others it says no radio, also i have noticed that even if i load any of them on there when i go to any of the install it does not show a previous version

Are you going to be updating the 3.09 ROM v3 to the latest M2D update given the issues reported with the previous updated of M2D?

Given that, my thoughts are:

1. Try your carrier's most recent Official ROM.
2. Make sure your USB connection is straight to the computer (no hubs, no other USB devices on the line, hubs often split one USB line into multiple, which lowers the amount of power available to a specific device if the hub has more than two devices to a line. Your update could fail if other devices are leeching power from your phone's connection.)

Otherwise my guess would be to say that you've got a faulty device, did you ever sucessfully flash an Official ROM to it?

Also let us know what your device info is, ie Radio Version, ROM version, etc...

For some reason when I use OMJ's roms (manilla and non-manilla), my sms text messages are randomly sent with a high priority. I tried to change the HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Inbox/Settings/OEM/SMSEnablePriority to 0, which removes the option to pick if it is a high or normal priority. But I still have the same problem. It's a real pain to keep checking what priority the message is being sent with. Is there a registry option I can add to force the priority to normal? I have tried WDM's rom, and I don't have this problem (just a bunch of other ones ) Any ideas?

I am currently using OMJ's V3 custom on the Bell network.

when u flashed the Alltel rom, did u skip the carrier customization?

yeah, that could be....but i'm no gps expert, hell I rarely use it.

so when in bootloader mode it says 2.31.Coke?

agian, if u want help, u need to provide more info

who is your carrier?
which rom did u try to flash for the radio?
what version rom & radio does it show @ bootup?

probably not....what issues? v3 running great for me.....most of the updates did not actually update m2d.

this is the 1st I have heard of? how did u know your msgs had high priority? I checked my msg options & it was set to normal.

It is very plausible if your carrier doesn't provide PDE servers (which I just learned must stand for Position Determination Entity) and you entered them that your GPS may not work because it's waiting for a response from a PDE server. I would suggest PM'ing MrObvious as he seems rather knowledgeable about GPS, and possibly shadow-tech since his hack might be causing you problems (as in, your carrier may not have PDE servers for aGPS & if that's the case you probably shouldn't have applied his hack).

Tried sprint and bell to upgrade radio didnt they come up with a connection error and it is connected directly via usb (no hubs)
and when it boots it does not show anything but no radio

can you guys help me with a problem, here whats up....
i have 2 touch's right...... my new ones gets evdo no problem..... but the old one, it will only get evdo when set to home only..... but when on home only, it only gets a signal like once a day from whwtever tower that it tries to connect to on home only...... its wierd..... i change the esn on my alltel account from the working evdo touch to the other one..... and after it dials #777, it switches to 1x..... thats with several different custom roms tried, alltels newest official rom...... still wont get evdo..... anyways, heres the phone details in device info:

Rom version: 3.10.671.1
ROM date: 9/22/08
Radio version: 3.42.30
protocol version: DCAAXAM-4350H
Hardware version: 0001
PRL version: 30033 (alltels latest for the touch, same one working evdo touch has)
PRI Version: 2.02_011

just so you know, it currently has alltels official 6.1 rom
