Re: Official ROM Speed Tests. Post results here
I have a stupid question: Whats the default setting?
Should I go to the trouble of tracking down my MSL, or assume its set to "enabled"? I'm using the official 6.1 ROM |

Re: Official ROM Speed Tests. Post results here
Slightly off topic here but still relevant I think:
How many of you who are reporting piss poor speed tests using the new Official ROM have used the Titan 3.35.04 radio before? I believe the poor speed test results are related to the Titan radio because I know I have installed the radio on ALL 3 Touchs that I've had and all 3 times I have had great results at first but slowly deteriorate to nothing. I will be receiving a BRAND NEW Sprint Touch in the next few days. This time I am NOT going to install the Titan radio and will be experimenting with Speedtest.net both before and after the Official ROM update. I will update my first post with all new results once I have done this. --------------------------------------------------------------------- It will be set to Enabled by default after flashing to this ROM. I just wanna see both Enabled and Disabled results to get a clear well-defined answer to this long standing question.

Re: Official ROM Speed Tests. Post results here
Just tested and got 804 kbit/sec for a 1MB file on dslreports. It was much slower earlier today, nearly 250 kbit/sec to about 517 kbit/sec. It seems slower than the "Almost Sprint Rom 6.1" that was loaded previously. Is there something I need to do to bring back the faster data speeds?
Thanks, GP |

A pie is a baked food, with a baked shell usually made of pastry dough that covers or completely contains a filling of fruit, meat, fish, vegetables, cheeses, creams, chocolate, custards, nuts, or other sweet or savoury ingredients. ...
Seriously though... PIE= Pocket Internet Explorer en/dis = the user was refering to enabling and disabling the rev a and testing each setting. |
