(6/26/08) Telus/Bell Stock Rom with GPS/RevA - Page 4

I downloaded the Bell ROM, extracted the .rar and it shows up as: RUU_signed.nbh
What is this?... it isn't an .exe file.
Ideas???

I'm stuck with the new official Sprint ROM until this is resolved.

You need some other files.. romupdateutility.exe and others ... I know NFSFAN roms have those files inside... You may download the rom and replace the ROM with this one while using the RUU software... Also, it can be found somewhere in the forums

Thanks... but...
I've not used rom update utility before so have no idea of how to do this. Though I'm a quick learner and will probably have no problem figuring it out... it would be quicker is someone might post step by step instructions on how to incorporate this Bell ROM into the new Sprint release.

Get you stock ROM, run the .exe, go to the extracted folder and replace the fine with the one you got in this thread and then run it, the replacing has to do done right after the extracting and before the flashing

As the internet disconnection bug resolved ? Do people on Telus have this problem or Bell only ?

Haven't tried it yet... still at the office. I have to admit though... I'm still not perfectly clear as to the process of upgrading... sorry... but I'm new at this stuff.

I'm on telus and I had a GPS & Internet Connection problems.. After some head scratching and a Hard Reset, everything is working well.. 1400kbs avg download with full bars.. I think it was the head scratching that fixed it
