My update seems to have gone smoothly. No noticeable problems here. Thanks everyone...this thread has been extremely helpful.

One quick question. Do you think I should do a hard reset (like has been suggested numerous times after installing a new ROM), even though I have not noticed any of the issues that others have pointed out (it would be more precautionary then anything). I don't want to hard reset if I don't need to! Thanks.

I connected my phone to the computer and used the add/remove programs through activeSync to remove it. It took a while. After that i hit the soft reset key and my settings were available again.

I bought a copy of MS Voice Command, but have yet to use it. What are your thoughts on it? Is it actually useful?

Its useful but honestly give it something like that a shot on some of the custom ROMs first... I wouldn't ever buy something unless I truly liked it.
