I disagree. As long as you use the 2.31 unlocker, you can flash this on any Touch device regardless of carrier, you just have to make sure you DO NOT let the customizations run if you are not on Sprint.

No disrespect intended here, but You specifically said that it wouldn't work with another carrier other than Sprint. Youre exact words were:

"yes i can read and as i said the RUU updater wont recognize your device because its not a sprint device to upgrade ROMs so the radio wont update, nothing will until someone pulls it apart for the radio"

Thats why he disagreed with you. If you dont know then thats what you shouldve said instead of giving misleading information and then get upset when someone corrects you.

Does Sprint Navigation cost anything to use? or is it free?

It depends on what plan you have....if you have the simply everything plan, then unlimited GPS is included with that. If you have the SERO plan, unlimited GPS is not included and you can either pay $2.99/day or $9.99/mo to use their Navigation. If you use any other GPS software, Sprint can't charge you for it.

I also get an error when installing Tcpmp. That blows!

There is a verison of TCMP that has been recompiled to work with all 6.1 ROMs. I'm using it and it works flawlessly. You do need to register on XDA to download though. Here is the download page. The cab download link is at the bottom of the first post. Enjoy!

I don't have a proper Opera Icon, and I did install 9.5 and removed it because it was buggy. But I just looked in the windows folder with total commander and found OperaWM.exe. I clicked on it and Opera 8.65 opened up. So it's there.

I say I don't have a proper Icon because I have a blank square box in programs that says opera, but it doesn't do anything when I click on it. I'm going to fix the link.

When I installed my Window Voice Command it installed but with an error (v1.5). Then I tried installing the 1.6 upgrade but it quit and told me that I needed to have v1.51 in order to upgrade. Well, I don't have v1.51. So how do I get Voicemail put back on the device short of paying for it again? I'm running a valid, paid for Voicemail and don't see any reason why I should have to pay for it twice.

I bought it at Handango so I went there and it shows my purchases, both the original and for the upgrade but it will only let me download the upgrade which does squat for me without version 1.51. Any ideas?

R

I purchased this v1.5 from Handango when I first got the Touch and kept a copy of the install in case I needed to reinstall. Well, guess what, the copy of the install will not install!! I emailed Handango that I purchased this program, which it clearly shows on their website, that I would like another download that works. They completely ignored my request.

I have purchased a lot of software from them in the past and now I am not happy!! Any suggestions appreciated.

MS Voice Command Help

The best thread I have ever seen on Microsoft Voice Command:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2187221

There are cab installers floating around that contain 5.2.19208, which should work for you.

It is commercial software, so while you have a valid license, posting a direct link to the cab (here on PPCGeeks) might put WideAwake and the site at risk.

Best regards,
