So this is to fix video playback and not open the door to tflo3D?
Once all drivers have been implemented and optimized, TouchFlo 3D should, theoretically, work just fine. It is going to take some time though. I'm being VERY patient as I know I could never get those drivers working on my own.

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

I installed the new ROM yesterday, had about 60% battery last night, and had a dead battery this morning....I was surprised, as I have not had this problem in the past with my Touch.

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

ALL day I have been having problems getting my EVDO connection to stay solid. It has been flipping back and forth between 1X and EVDO since the upgrade.

For anyone having problems staying connected to EVDO like I was, here is a fix:

You most likely are flipping back and forth between 1X and EVDO because of the new PRL(60613) I have been having problems with it all day...

Here is the 60612 PRL. It has worked the best for me since day 1.

You will need to know your MSL in order to change the PRL. Here's how:

1. Download GETSPC and the 60612 PRL(attached below)
2. Dial ##786#
3. Write down your HEX ESN
4. Copy GETSPC and the PRL file to your device and run GETSPC.
5. Input your HEX ESN and hit GO
6. The result is your MSL(lock code)

7. Dial ##778#
8. Input MSL from step 6
9. click view info and select PRL
10. Select Update PRL Item and click menu/edit
11. Browse to the place on your device where you placed the PRL file
12. Update and soft reset.

Problem should be solved.

Dan.

My apologies. Typo - ##786# is the correct code. Other post updated.

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

I can't even get my GPS to lock now, waited 20 minutes outside nothing. Hard reset and let everything run, still no GPS lock. So how should I go back to a custom ROM? Or just wait till someone creates on based on this release?

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

Try this.

Install this cab: Assisted GPS Hack.

Copy this DLL to the Windows folder using Resco Explorer or ActiveSync Explorer if you have Windows XP: Virser_GPS

Once you do this, wait a minute and then soft-reset.

Try your GPS again.

I'm too scared to do it..I just tried it and when the updater was loading on my comp and it was on the screen where it says 0% and my phone had blue, red, green screen and then something popped up on my computer saying it couldn't connect..I'll have Sprint do it when its available..
