Thanks

1.nbh is the radio.
2.nbh is the rest.

Rename 2.nbh to VOGUIMG.NBH and put that in the root of your SD card... and get it back into the bootloader.

so you have to do all of that just to install this update ? why cant this be done via active sync only ? ive tried 4 times with a 260 error message and my phone displays a rainbow color. if this is that much of a hassle ill wait to do this upgrade.

Thanks - so I just ignore the radio update? or do I do the same thing before or after the 2.nbh?

Ok, this may be somewhat off topic, but then again maybe not. I ran the upgrade which ran with no problem and the Touch is now running Winmo 6.1. When I installed my Window Voice Command it installed but with an error (v1.5). Then I tried installing the 1.6 upgrade but it quit and told me that I needed to have v1.51 in order to upgrade. Well, I don't have v1.51. So how do I get Voicemail put back on the device short of paying for it again? I'm running a valid, paid for Voicemail and don't see any reason why I should have to pay for it twice.

I bought it at Handango so I went there and it shows my purchases, both the original and for the upgrade but it will only let me download the upgrade which does squat for me without version 1.51. Any ideas?

Also, can't find Telenav on the device so I haven't tried out the GPS yet. I'm still in the process of getting the phone setup again with the apps I had on it before the upgrade.

stylez3, how'd it go with the ppst cab?

check pm too:)

a big difference after running the ppst cab. my gps locks almost instantly with vets rom. apparently once you run the ppst .exe it puts info in the radio that allows it to perform better. you should try it. it works great with me.

you're talking about running ppst on a custom rom right? should we run it on this rom?

So far I'm loving it. No stability issues what so ever and the only program Incompatibilities I've come across is TCPMP still will not work.

Now on to the real reason for my post. It would be ABSOLUTELY AWESOME to see the new video drivers incorporated into this ROM. You can read up on the progress of the porting project here:

http://htcclassaction.org/driverprogress.php

So far they have been able to successfully get an HTC TyTN II to perform better than the Diamond on graphics tests and that is only the beginning as the drivers still aren't finished.

I can see the perfect ROM... This ROM, EXACTLY this ROM, but with the drivers from the link above. No custom garbage with tons of crap bogging it down(that can all be installed by the user IMHO)

I'd skip the radio update for now... if the 2.nbh flash goes fine then I'd try to do the whole thing over again with the .exe and ActiveSync.

When you have the new OS installed ensure you can connect with ActiveSync to the phone first before running the .exe.

If you can't connect with ActiveSync to the phone then the RUU (Rom Update program) likely won't go well.
