Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

Upgrade my sprint htc to new rom,GPS working fine for me.
Just wondering how come PRL is 60610 instead of 60613 as I have seen in some posts.
Any input to verify this.
Thanks a lot

Question Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

I have a SERO plan. It gives me Unlimited Data and I use Internet Sharing A LOT. In the old ROMS I saw there where two drop down menus. One for PC CONNECTION, and one for NETWORK CONNECTION. In the NETWORK CONNECTION menu there was two options, THE INTERNET, and SPRINT PCS. I called Sprint Support and they told me I could use SPRINT PCS for free to tether my Touch to my computer. I installed this new ROM and the second menu dissapeared. Can anybody answer me why?

Please look at attachments for more info. Thank you.

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

Differences will be optimized software loads from what we see today with the current leaked version... Probably not too much to worry about but... Its still not official...

Vogue will pretty much be the same differences... Same software loads, and all the updates and enhancements that the Mogul/Titan got previous...

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

GPS only works for a few minutes, then device.exe crashes and if I want to use GPS again I have to reboot the phone.

I searched for "device.exe" but it noone is reporting this problem.

Wow, I'd say (as painful as it might sound) try a hard-reset, let customizations run to completion (presuming you are a Sprint subscriber) and then once the phone reboots, try again.

Best regards,

I might have to do that, but I hate hard resetting that many times lol. During my last install I flashed twice and reset 2-3 times after that and it was working good for a little while and now it crapped out again.

Please keep trying it and let me know if it seems to have fixed your problem. Did you let the customizations run completely each time you hard reset?
